Defying odds and thriving in even the most unfavorable situations are what Reggie does best. The experiences of Reggie's life bring him to a place of insight, knowledge and wisdom beyond his years. Reggie endures the effects of multi-generational trauma and systemic racism in our community, but his resilience to rise above serves as inspiration to those faced with similar circumstances and a beacon of hope for our collective futures. Raised in poverty by a single teenage mother and educated in the most elite institutions, he understands the common threads that run through humanity. An old soul, a life-long learner, a humble teacher, and a natural go-getter, Reggie brings a unique and valued perspective to those around him. Reggie empowers everyone he encounters as he continues to grow into his best self. As the epitome of perseverance, Reggie captivates audiences with his story of turning the pain and struggle of his past into peace and abundance.
Reggie is an entrepreneur, mental health advocate, author and social activist. Most important, though, he is the proud husband of Katie and dad to their well-loved dog Rosie. Reggie enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, practicing (and teaching!) yoga, and spending time with loved ones.
A career of service
Extraordinary vision, deep-seeded passion and good old-fashioned hard work define Reggie’s career. After getting his feet wet working with some of the best companies in the financial world, Reggie founded RoseCrete Wealth Management, an endeavor informed by his upbringing and his education and inspired by his desire to serve people like him, professionals and entrepreneurs working to create generational wealth and rewrite the narrative that where they come from defines where they must end up.
Speaking from the heart
Reggie’s continued self-discovery and growth led him to write his autobiography, Perseverance Through Severe Dysfunction (PTSD): Breaking the Curse of Intergenerational Trauma as a Black Man in America and found Ella Wenthom, through which he published his best-selling book. With the success of PTSD, Reggie has been highly sought after to share his stories and wisdom with audiences around the United States, and these opportunities further fed his passion for using his experiences to better himself, the world and those around him. As an author, speaker and teacher Reggie inspires his audiences to greatness. His humility, honesty and vulnerability challenge us to take a look at ourselves and our world and make a difference where we can.
A smart man and dedicated student, Reggie earned recognition throughout his academic career. As a cornerback for the varsity football team at Vanderbilt University, Reggie appeared consistently on the SEC Academic Honor Roll and on the Commodore’s Dean’s List. Perhaps most impressively, his professors and classmates at Vanderbilt’s business school honored Reggie’s visionary leadership and indelible spirit by naming him a 2014 Owen School of Management World Shaper.
